Panel: Writing Speculative Fiction

First Colony Branch Library

2121 Austin PKWY, Sugar Land, TX 77479

August 19th, 2017, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Good afternoon, beautiful readers! After teaching my class for the Houston Writer's Guild's Summer Series, I've gathered the courage to appear on a panel with my fellow talented authors at Inklings Publishing! Each and every member of this panel are gushing with talent and creativity, which is especially great considering the fact that we will be discussing speculative fiction.

Speculative Fiction is a genre of fiction that encompasses works in which the setting is other than the real world, usually involving supernatural, futuristic, or other imagined elements. My fellow panelists all are in the process of releasing otherworldly books that range from high fantasy to post-apocalyptic worlds. Since I'm in the process of writing my own high fantasy, horror trilogy that is also post-apocalyptic, I managed to squeak right on in!

Oodles of information from those who have, and still are, in the process of writing their book series are waiting to pass on their wisdom this Saturday. So come and join me for an afternoon full of inspirational brainstorming and idea-crunching at the First Colony Branch Library!
